The Parkway
I found a great way to get my exercise in and spend time with the family at the same time. Brian wanted to take the kids to Provo river park way. I did not want to go because I am training for a 1/2 marathon and I wanted to run. We decided to have Wyatt ride his bike. Wyatt rode his bike and I ran! Wyatt kept me at a good pace. I know he would have loved to go a little faster but he stayed with me the whole time. It also gave us a good chance to talk and just spend time together. RyAnne is still on training wheels so Brian stayed back with her. She did great, she made it to Bridal viel fall about 5 miles round trip. Wyatt and I made it to Nun's park 6 miles round trip in less than an hour. Pretty good (we stopped to look at the waterfall and to get a drink)! Maybe we will go back again this week!

Broken camera
Brian took Wyatt and RyAnne on a "drive" in the mountains on the 4th of July. Brain let Wyatt hold the camera. The camera did not make it back in on piece. So until I get a new camera I can not post any new pictures!
This week was a fun week for Wyatt. He went to "Uk soccer camp." The camp was great. All of the coaches were from the UK. Wyatt won the costume contest for the "Wacky Wednesday" competition that they had (wish I had a camera!).
The last hour each day of camp they had a miniature World Cup. Wyatt played for Brazil. We drove to Provo and got a Brazil flag and shirt from Jason. I watched the games and waved the flag every time Brazil scored a goal.
Wyatt also learned a lot. Last spring he played soccer he was in the 4-6 league. He had an easy time because he was 6 1/2. He was usually the oldest and biggest kid on the field. He had a little bit of a wake-up call at camp now being one of the younger kids. He learned some important skills such as passing the ball and playing as a team. I really enjoy watching him play. I can't wait to see how he does in soccer this fall.

Manager of the Year

Tuesday was the annual employee meeting at my place of employment. I almost did not go because it was my day off. Out of 300 employees who would notice I was missing? To my great surprise I won the coveted Manager of the Year award. The prize, CASH! As for the money we have been saving for Disneyland. We are almost half way there now. Hopefully we will be heading to the magic kingdom in the fall!

Mt. Timp waterfall
This week I took two extra days off. I wanted to do something fun with the kids. Monday we went to the Oaker Hills temple open house. Tuesday we spent the day swimming. Wednesday we went on a hike to a waterfall on the Mt Timp. trail After the hike we ate lunch at "Chicken Stars." It was really nice just to be able to relax and spend time with the two little people that I love more tham anything else in the world!

TEE BALL
Today was the first tee ball game of the season and RyAnne first offical tee ball game ever. RyAnne is quite shy and was really scared. She hit the ball and ran to first base. When it was time to run the second base she ran not quite half way and then turned around and started crying. She was scared becasue it was to far away from mom and she did not reconize anyone. I finally had to go out and hold her hand and run with her to second and third base. It was a little embarassing! After that she was done she wanted to go home. So I told herif she could run the bases by her self we would go get an ice cream cone. SO her next at bat she was very nervous but she did it her self.
Wyatt of course this being his third year of tee ball did great and tried to help RyAnne as much as he could.

LOVE TO TRI!!!

May 16, 2009 Women of steel Triathlon
WOW, I was so excited to do the Women of Steel Triathlon again this year. My favorite part was RyAnne got to come and watch. My mom made her a big sign that said "GO MOMMY!" Every time she saw me she held it up. She was very cute!
The second most favorite was my swimming! I actually did not embarrass myself in the pool this year. I took 4 min. off my time from last year. Finishing the swim portion in 7 min 58 seconds! Could not believe it when I got my time. The running was a little disappointing I added 1 min. But the is probably because I was so focused on improving my swimming.
The best news of all is RyAnne can not wait to race with me!! You have to be 12 to do it so 8 more years and hopefully we will be racing together!
