The Princess pictures

I waited in line at DisneyLand with RyAnne for an hour and a half to see the princesses. We get up to the princesses and the batteries on my camera were dead. Entirely my fault because the low battery light had been flashing for a day. So, I had to buy these pictures from the Disneyland photographers. Yes, it cost me a lot more than new batteries would have for my Camera. Lesson learned!! Next time I will bring extra batteries. But I just could not resist these Photos!!

Halloween !!!!!!!!!!

I have to admit that Halloween is now one of my favorite holidays. Why???

I love dressing up!!!!I love , I love it , I love it!!It when people do not know who I am. It is a day that I do not have to be me, I can be some one else. I just realized that I did not get a picture of myself in costume!!! I was the grime reaper this year and it was a good one. Most people did not know who I was. Wyatt was Captain Jack Sparrow again. I tried to get him a new costume but he insisted on Jack Sparrow again. RyAnne's custom was Ryanne riding a unicorn.

One Sick Girl!!!

Poor little RyAnne. Sunday afternoon she was really tried. She took a nap, something that she has not done for a long long time. She woke up about 4:30. Grandpa Larry was here and I had 14 people coming over for dinner at 5:00. She had a fever and really just wanted to be left alone. I put Fox and the Hound on for her and she was content while I got dinner ready. As soon as we started to eat she started vomiting. I stayed with her while every one ate. A few minutes later she feel asleep watching her movie. She was sick all night and just started feeling better this afternoon.

In the mean time my family had brought over Wyatt's birthday presents as they will got get another chance to see him before his birthday. I was so busy taking care of RyAnne I did not get any pictures. I did take a few picture this morning. He got A University of Utah ball and bat from the Tatums, a gun set from Grandpa Steve, Money from Brent and Sharon Mackay, Mark and Lisa and Great grandparents. Mom got him a great big bumble bee transformer and a camo sweatshirt..

More pictures of Wyatt's birthday to come in a few days.

Best Friends of Wyatt and RyAnne

Everyone needs a Best
friend !!

Wyatt and Hagen are the best kind of friends, for when they are together the fun never ends. Playing baseball or chasing down bugs, stomping in puddles or picking up slugs. Getting all messy, really isn't was bad. That's the kind of fun little boys like to have.
So when I come home all dirty and
muddy, I say "Don't be so mad mom, I was out with my buddy!"

Everyone needs a best friend especially kids. This years is the first year in a long time that we have kids in the neighborhood!! A lot of the neighbors are older people whose kids are all grow up. Wyatt however has found a best friend that has actually lived around the corner for a few years. This summer it has been all about Wyatt and Hagen!!!

RyAnne's Best Friend Gabby

Ryanne has also found a good friend, Gabby! Gabby came over to play last week. RyAnne had so much fun! I think that she has asked me every day this week if Gabby is coming back to play. She has been picking up the phone and pretending to call Gabby. She also really likes to go to church so she can see Gabby. They were so Cute playing that I could not help but snap a few pictures.

RyAnne and the Princess bed

RyAnne
and the
Princess bed.

RyAnne has been sleeping in the same bed as her brother for the past six months. Even though it melts their mother heart to see them snuggles up together on the same twin size mattress I realized that they can not sleep together for rest of there lives. This would not be cool as a teenager.
RyAnne was getting to the point that she has a really hard time sleeping with out her brother by her side.

So a plan was made to get RyAnne to sleep in her own bed. RyAnne loves any kind of Princess. So we made her a princess bed. After two stores, (1 furniture store for her own twin mattress and a quick stop at family dollar for new sheets and comforter) we had a princess bed. RyAnne was thrilled. The plan a success. RyAnne has been sleeping in her own bed for the past week. They have bunk beds so Wyatt is still close enough for RyAnne to feel safe. Not only is she sleeping in her own bed. She insist on making it in the morning! Maybe her brother will learn something from her.

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL! FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL!

Today Wyatt started kindergarten. It is a day of mix emotions for Mom. I have looked forward to his day for a while and all I can say is it was bitter sweet. Wyatt was not at all bothered, or even nervous just excited. He is in the afternoon session and he started asking if it was time to go about 10 am. It was a long morning. His Teacher is Mrs. Winterrose who happens be be in our ward along with the the principal, so I know he is in good hands. RyAnne was really jealous of all the attention that Wyatt was getting.
WOW look it is a truck!!!!

This truck body has been sitting in our yard for at least a couple of years. Well, a while ago we got a "voluntary clean-up notice" from the Heber City Police Department. Tonight Gordon came over with the wrecker and helped Brian lift the body back on to the chassis. Why Brian has to take everything apart is something I will never understand. At least he is finally getting this one back together. Only four more to go! My only regret is not turning Brian in to the police department myself after the first six months.

RyAnne's day that the Museum

The Children's Museum

RyAnne also had fun a the museum. One of her favorite activities was playing in the water feature at the museum. It is amazing to me how entertained she is by something as simple as water. At home she loves play in the kitchen sink. The water feature had ping-pong balls and RyAnne loved to watch the balls floating in the water

After the museum we took the kids to liberty park. both the kids enjoyed playing in the fountain.

A Day at the Museum

The Children's museum

Brian and I Finally had the same day off. We decided to do something fun with the kids. After a few Internet searches we decided to go to the Children's museum at the Gateway in Salt Lake City.

Grandpa was in town so we invited him to come along.

The Museum was great !! The kids really enjoyed it. One of Wyatt's favorite activities was working a the market.
Wyatt put on an apron and went right to work as a cashier in the market.
He even asked a little girl, " can I help you find something?" What a good little worker!!!

The other Job the Wyatt enjoyed was being a postal carrier. He dressed up in a US postal carriers hat and mail bag. The museum had several different mail boxes threw out the little village. He had to deliver letters to the different mail boxes. With a little help for mom he did a great job and had fun too!

NORTHWEST PASSAGE RAGNAR RELAY SERIES 2008

The relay is a 187 miles run. Most teams have 12 people. Each runner runs three separate sections.

My team's name was Master says Faster.

We finished the 187 mile course in 29 hours and 58 min. It is a great lesson in team work. I joined a team of complete strangers and I had a blast. For more information on this and other relays see the following link http://ragnarrelay.com/
