FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL! FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL!

Today Wyatt started kindergarten. It is a day of mix emotions for Mom. I have looked forward to his day for a while and all I can say is it was bitter sweet. Wyatt was not at all bothered, or even nervous just excited. He is in the afternoon session and he started asking if it was time to go about 10 am. It was a long morning. His Teacher is Mrs. Winterrose who happens be be in our ward along with the the principal, so I know he is in good hands. RyAnne was really jealous of all the attention that Wyatt was getting.
WOW look it is a truck!!!!

This truck body has been sitting in our yard for at least a couple of years. Well, a while ago we got a "voluntary clean-up notice" from the Heber City Police Department. Tonight Gordon came over with the wrecker and helped Brian lift the body back on to the chassis. Why Brian has to take everything apart is something I will never understand. At least he is finally getting this one back together. Only four more to go! My only regret is not turning Brian in to the police department myself after the first six months.

RyAnne's day that the Museum

The Children's Museum

RyAnne also had fun a the museum. One of her favorite activities was playing in the water feature at the museum. It is amazing to me how entertained she is by something as simple as water. At home she loves play in the kitchen sink. The water feature had ping-pong balls and RyAnne loved to watch the balls floating in the water

After the museum we took the kids to liberty park. both the kids enjoyed playing in the fountain.

A Day at the Museum

The Children's museum

Brian and I Finally had the same day off. We decided to do something fun with the kids. After a few Internet searches we decided to go to the Children's museum at the Gateway in Salt Lake City.

Grandpa was in town so we invited him to come along.

The Museum was great !! The kids really enjoyed it. One of Wyatt's favorite activities was working a the market.
Wyatt put on an apron and went right to work as a cashier in the market.
He even asked a little girl, " can I help you find something?" What a good little worker!!!

The other Job the Wyatt enjoyed was being a postal carrier. He dressed up in a US postal carriers hat and mail bag. The museum had several different mail boxes threw out the little village. He had to deliver letters to the different mail boxes. With a little help for mom he did a great job and had fun too!

Wyatt could spend all day playing in the sand at the beach.

Wyatt, RyAnne and Mom paddle to the other side if the lake behind Grandpa's house were we found this fun beach. Both Wyatt and RyAnne played and played.

The museum of flight is another fun stop that we made on our trip. It was a great stop with something for everyone. We got to walk threw the old air force one. It was really neat.

Wyatt and Ryanne sure enjoy the ferry ride from Seattle to Bremerton. It is a ride that they got to take a number of times to get to Grandpa's house in Allyn Washington.

Wyatt and RyAnne got to spend time with their cousins,Owen and Jake And Aunts Lisa and MiKell.

NORTHWEST PASSAGE RAGNAR RELAY SERIES 2008

The relay is a 187 miles run. Most teams have 12 people. Each runner runs three separate sections.

My team's name was Master says Faster.

We finished the 187 mile course in 29 hours and 58 min. It is a great lesson in team work. I joined a team of complete strangers and I had a blast. For more information on this and other relays see the following link http://ragnarrelay.com/
