Huray! Spring is here.............Well maybe

May 1 we woke up to Snow. So much snow that it covered the satellite dish and the kids could not watch their cartoons in the morning. Today however was a beautiful day the kids had so much fun playing outside. RyAnne never gets tried of swinging. I am looking forward to her constantly saying, "Push me on the swing Mama" I am not sue if we are done with the snow but we will enjoy the nice days when we have them. Her are a few pics of today's playtime.

Wyatt and RyAnne both have their own room. RyAnne however has never really slept in her bed. She always crawled into bed with Wyatt. So we finally just moved her bed into Wyatt's room. Wyatt recently decided that it was just not cool to his little sister in his room all the time. We decided to make RyAnne a Tinkerbell room hoping that she would actually sleep in her own room.

RyAnne's Big Week

Sunday Feb 28th RyAnne Rides With No Training Wheels! We actually took RyAnne's training wheels off last fall but she could not quite ride her bike by herself. Sunday it was a nice day and she decided she wanted to ride her bike. I helped her a few times around the block. She was doing great! After a little practice she was going down the road be herself.
Wednesday March 3rd "Holes in Her Ears"
When we asked RyAnne what she wanted for her birthday she said. "I want holes in my ears" I said, "oh, you want to get your ears pierced." RyAnne responced, "NO, I don't want my ears pierced, I WANT HOLES IN THEM!" Wednesday I took her to the mall and got holes put in her ears. Amazing she did not shed a tear! I think she was to excited to notice the pain. Thursday March 4th RyANne Turns Five!
RyAnne wanted to have her birthday at the bowling alley. RyAnne and 12 other kids had a blast at the bowling alley. Ten frames was a little too long for some of the younger kids but over all everyone had fun.

Yes, It is about time I posted something new!

One night Wyatt and RyAnne both decided that they would make beds out of laundry baskets and sleep in them. Silly kids. Both woke up on the floor.

RyAnne got a sick baby form Santa. You have to give it medicine. Don't tell anyone but Wyatt liked playing with it too! He was "just seeing what it did."

Top 5 reasons that I hate Christmas


5. Blow up lawn ornaments. It is you home not a used car lot! If you choose to decorate, fine but do it tastefully!

4. Christmas Music Most of it is just annoying

3. What happened to Thanksgiving ? Christmas has turned into this big bully, pushing out Thanksgiving. As soon as Halloween is over Christmas is shoved down our throats! Christmas music decorations etc. What if I just want to enjoy Thanksgiving after all Christmas is still a month away!

2. Stupid gifts This is how it starts. One person with too much money and or time on their hands go out and buys everyone in the office a stupid little 5 dollars trinket, wraps them up and gives them out as gifts. Then everyone that received a stupid little trinket feels obligated to give something back. So they all go and pick out a little something and hand them out as gifts. In the end I waste 50 buck on stupid little gifts and receive a bunch of stuff I will never use.

1. It is not about Christ anymore. I am sure that Jesus would line up at Walmart on black Friday. Trample people that got in his way to save ten bucks on something that nobody really needs.

OUCH!

RyAnne fell Thursday night and hit her head on the cement stairs on our porch. She had a huge goose egg on her fore head.

By Friday she had a black eye. She did not want to go anywhere because she was so embarrassed about the why she looked. Hopefully here face will look better in a few days.

A small miracle at our house

Duke our 12+ year old yellow lab went missing 2 months ago. When he did come home we assumed he was gone for good. We replaced him with Mugzie, (the naughty dog!). Last night Brian went out the front door. There was Duke! The kids were so so happy to have him back. Where did he go for 2 1/2 months? We will probably never know.

3 dogs! OH THE POOP WE WILL BE PICKING UP! OH THE HAIR IN THE HOUSE! The only hope I have is that Duke is so so old he can not possibly live much longer!
